Words You Need to Hear is a collection of 12 beautifully illustrated cards, created to offer a moment of encouragement, perspective, or reassurance when life gets noisy.
These aren’t random quotes pulled from the internet. They’re real words and mantras I’ve used over the years as a mum, a coach, & a woman finding her own way through life. They are divided into 4 key areas: trust, power, nourish & joy.

What You Receive
An Original A5 Watercolour Painting
Hand-painted by Emma from your photograph. Every brushstroke made with intention. No two paintings are ever the same — this one exists only for the person you’re sending it to.
A Film of the Painting Being Created.
The entire painting process is filmed: it is then edited (sped up, not cut) to be around 5 minutes long. The entire painting process is filmed and then lovingly edited. During the editing process, Emma records a voiceover — reading your letter aloud — so your words are woven through the film as your painting comes to life. Your loved one will watch their gift come to life, in real time, in Emma’s studio by the sea. Accessible via a personal QR code — theirs to keep and return to, whenever they need it.
Your Letter, Beautifully Presented
Your words — typeset and printed elegantly — are included in the package alongside the painting. So they have both the art and the words that inspired it.
Luxury Packaging, Ready to Gift
Wrapped in beautiful tissue, tied with ribbon, sealed with wax, delivered directly to your loved one — or to you, to give by hand. Either way, the unboxing is part of the experience.
A Personal QR Code
Tucked inside the package — beautifully printed on the card with their letter- is a unique QR code. One scan and the film begins. They can return to it as many times as they wish, for as long as they wish. The video is completely private & can only be viewed using the QR code!
